i'm currently attending Grand Valley State University
in Michigan. Where i am majoring in Writing (creative) and minoring in East
Asian Studies. I'm taking my last Japanese class (at GVSU) this semester. I work
in the school of communications department as a desk receptionist of sorts for the
equipment and resource rooms for the Film & Video and Photography students there.
Completely unrelated to my major, but it's easy and sometimes fun and the people are
great I'm not quite sure how that all is going to get me a job... but whatever! ^_^
I hope to do a foreign study in Japan in a year or so. Then after I graduate, i'm
thinking about trying to get into the JET program and teach english over there for a
few years. That or become a translator, or english teacher over here. Edventually, I
think I will want to come back to the states and start writing novels. Sometimes I think
I'm crazy for having such extreme goals, but I figure you just have to take stuff one step at a time.
Personality wise, i'm a very easy person to get along with. I'm one of those
people who can be friends with almost anyone ^_^ i'm optimistic, goofy,
open minded, immature, gulliable, fun, lazy, and totally made of awesome!
I'm obsessed with Japanese culture (in case you couldn't tell already), and
i love to make icons and watch asian dramas.
This journal is friends-only, and the main purpose is to give me somewhere to rant & rave about my numerous obsessions & fandoms. However, I also talk about my everyday life. If you want to add me I will most likely add you back, as long as we have some things in common.
